US Ambassador meets COAS, appreciates Pakistan's role in Afghan reconciliation process
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – United States Ambassador to Pakistan Paul Jones called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday and appreciated Pakistan’s role in the ongoing Afghan peace and reconciliation process.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), US Ambassador to Pakistan and Chargé d’Affaires Paul Jones, paid a farewell visit to Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The Ambassador praised Pakistan’s positive role in the Afghan reconciliation process and said that Pakistan’s cooperation would promote peace and stability in the region.
COAS General Bajwa appreciated the Ambassador’s services during his tenure in Pakistan and wished him well for the future.
