Met office forecast rainfall in different parts of country

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Meteorological Department has said that strong monsoon winds will enter the country from Wednesday, and is likely to rain in different parts of the country, including Lahore.

According to Meteorological Department monsoon currents are penetrating in upper parts of the country while hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north eastern Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir. While rain thunderstorm is also expected at isolated places in lower Sindh.

On Tuesday hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and lower Sindh.

In the last 24 hours hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Kashmir.

Rainfall in Sialkot city 40, Airport 04, Rawalpindi Shamsabad 15, Chaklala 02, Islamabad Zeropoint 12, Airport 12, Golra 10, Saidpur 02, Gujranwala 13, Gujrat 02, Mithi 17, Chhor 04, Badin 01, Kakul 06 were recorded.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s Nokkundi 47°C, Dalbandin, Chillas and Dadu 45°C were recorded.
