Kashmir issue can be resolved if UN accepts our map: President Arif Alvi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has said that India is ramping up its aggression in Kashmir but disappointingly, the United Nations has failed to play its role in finding a solution. However, the Kashmir issue can be resolved if the UN accepts the political map of Pakistan.

Speaking to Dunya News on program "Nuqta-e-Nazar", the President said that we are informing the world about Indian atrocities and growing hatred. Its incumbent government is distorting its own history, he added.

Dr Arif Alvi said that India took inspiration from Nazi politics and learned the use of pellet guns from Israel. Under the Modi government, it is ramping up its atrocities on the Kashmiris including women and children.

He said that we are all united on Kashmir issue and must play our respective roles in their struggle for independence. He said that he has been invited to the Senate on Wednesday, which is the first time a president has been invited.

The President said that China took a clear stand on India’s illegal move while Turkey and Malaysia also supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. He said that social media is the fastest forum for disseminating information, which is why he has suggested Prime Minister Imran Khan to utilize it in highlighting the Kashmiri struggle.
