No threat to govt regardless of opposition's APCs: Governor Sarwar
People will not become a part of opposition's anti-government campaign, Chaudhry Sarwar said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said there is no threat to the incumbent government doesn’t matter how many All Parties Conferences (APCs) are held by the opposition, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
Speaking to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, Chaudhry Sarwar said people in Pakistan are in favor of continuity of democracy and transparency, and will not become a part of the opposition’s anti-government campaign.
“People have given a mandate of five years to PTI which is making the institutions strong by eliminating political interference from them. Eradication of corruption and accountability without discrimination is the need of the hour.
“If the opposition wants to amend the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law, it should do it through the parliament. The opposition should play a positive role inside and outside the parliament.”
