PTI govt wants Asif Zardari dead, alleges Bilawal Zardari

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Zardari has accused the incumbent government of wanting to kill his father, former President Asif Ali Zardari.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, he said that the Prime Minister is too afraid to address the National Assembly in our presence. He also challenged the Prime Minister to have a debate with him if he dares to do so.

Bilawal Zardari said that the government has turned every crisis it faced in the past two years into a catastrophe. He said that the sudden price increase in petrol is an attempt to rob the already impoverished public, while nothing has been done to deal with the coronavirus either.

Bilawal said that the PTI government was intensifying the country’s problems instead of fixing them. He accused the government of using Mafias as front men, benefiting the rich in the name of the poor. The rising petroleum prices will further increase inflation, he added.

Chairman PPP said that Pakistan is facing historical challenges at the moment but the government has failed to rise to the occasion. He criticized the government’s inability to deal with the locust problem and rejected its claim of having coronavirus under control, calling it a white lie.

He paid homage to the martyrs of the stock exchange attack and said that the policemen took timely action to save many lives. The Sindh government has already announced compensation for the martyrs.
