Security in Sindh being beefed up: Murad Ali
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said our forces once again foiled the nefarious designs of country’s enemies.
He said this while addressing a special ceremony organized to pay tribute to the policemen and security guards who laid their lives and sustained multiple injuries while foiling the attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The Chief Minister said government has decided to strengthen Pakistan Stock Exchange and other sensitive installations security.
He announced that the sub-inspector who lost his life while defending the attack on PSX would be promoted in the next pay and scale, 10 million rupees compensation for his family, two jobs and continuation of his salary till his superannuation. He also said 5 million rupees compensation would also be given to the each family of three security guards who also laid their lives.
Murad Ali Shah announced 500,000 rupees financial assistance for seven policemen sustained injuries while fighting against the terrorists.
During the day Murad Ali Shah also visited Dow University 50-bed Coronavirus disease Hospital and directed to start treatment.
The Chief Minister was briefed on the occasion that the hospital is fully equipped and has ventilators installed in it.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that the facility of testing of Covid-19 would also be provided in this hospital. Starting treatment will greatly facilitate the patients. The Sindh Chief Minister directed the Vice Chancellor NED and the Health Minister to appoint health care staff and formally start the hospital.
