Bilawal Bhutto challenges PM Imran Khan for a debate
Bilawal said PM Imran ran election campaign for Indian PM Narendra Modi.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday challenged Prime Minister Imran Khan for a debate.
Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Thursday, he said that the lowest growth rate was due to the present government, adding that the growth rate ws negative even before outbreak of coronavirus.
He said that the prime minister claims to have the most successful policy is foreign policy then how did India become a non-permanent member of the United Nations.
“PM Imran ran election campaign for Indian PM Narendra Modi,” Bilawal said and added he said during election days that Kashmir issue would be resolved if Modi succeeded.
Regarding Coronavirus situation, the PPP chairman said that the spread of the pandemic was being played a role similar to the Kargil war. Our state was not ready to accept the Kargil war at that time. If the prime minister had been democratically elected, the people would have cared, he said.
Bilawal further asked how can you [PM Imran] say that we are ready for the pandemic, adding that the doctors and nurses re suffering, all this happened because of the ego of the prime minister.
“The prime minister has no plan from day one. If we had followed the instructions of the WHO, our health system would have endured,” he said.
