Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman phones Shehbaz Sharif, offers medical help
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman who inquired about his well being and offered assistance from the Chinese government regarding his Covid-19 treatment.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman called Shehbaz Sharif and said that he was concerned about him contracting the virus, he also wished him the former CM a speedy recovery.
The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly thanked the Chinese government, its leadership and spokesman Lao for offering medical treatment.
Shehbaz Sharif said that his concern and generous offer was evidence of China’s love, great commitment and compassion for the people of Pakistan. He said that his relationship with China has always been a source of pride for him.
