Flight carrying medical equipment from China lands in Islamabad

Pakistan's testing capacity will likely to be reached to 40,000 daily in coming days: NDMA chairman.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A special aircraft of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying another cache of protective equipment from China has reached Islamabad today (Monday).

Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal received the equipment. The protective goods include 15 x-ray machines, 119 ventilators, 200 thermal guns, and other material.




Speaking on the occasion, Chairman NDMA said more equipment will also arrive from China to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

He told that Pakistan’s testing capacity will likely to be reached to 40 thousand daily in coming days.
