Two soldiers martyred, nine terrorists killed in North Waziristan operation
Security personnel conducted a raid on a tip off received regarding presence of terrorists
NORTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) - Nine terrorists were killed while another one was apprehended in an intelligence based operation by security forces in North Waziristan today (Sunday).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in Khaisura and Dossali areas. Two soldiers also embraced martyrdom whereas five others sustained severe injuries in an exchange of fire with terrorists.
During the raid, huge cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered.
CM Budar pays tribute to Pak Army soldiers
Meanhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar paid rich tributes to Pakistan Army soldiers who embraced martyrdom during an operation against terrorists in South Waziristan.
He expressed his deep grief and sorrow over their martyrdom with their family members.
Usman Buzdar also prayed for early recovery of the injured soldiers and said that Pakistan Army soldiers, by foiling nefarious designs of terrorists, had displayed courage and bravery.
He said: “They are real heroes of the nation and the sacrifices being offered by them are commendable, exemplary and memorable.”
