29 more coronavirus patients recover in Lahore: Yasmin Rashid

Yasmin Rashid said that so far 206 COVID-19 patients in Lahore have returned to their homes.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Sunday said that 29 more COVID-19 patients have fully recovered from the disease at Mayo Hospital and Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Centre, Lahore, Dunya News reported.

She said that a total of 206 patients from different hospitals of Lahore had so far returned to their homes bringing the total number of the people who have recovered from COVID-19 in Punjab province to 680.

On the other hand, Pakistan on Sunday has reported 168 deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 8348. So far, 1,868 patients have recovered in the country.

According to details, 3822 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Punjab, 2537 in Sindh, 1137 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 376 in Balochistan, 257 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 171 in Islamabad and 48 in Azad Kashmir.
