Chinese companies donate Rs 5m in PM's corona relief fund
The companies donated protective equipment worth Rs 3 million to the NDMA
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The heads of two Chinese companies met with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday and donated protective equipment worth Rs 3 million to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
According to a statement by PM House spokesperson, the meeting was also attended by Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal. The Prime Minister thanked both companies for their assistance in fighting with the virus.
The statement further said that the head of Chinese Engineering Company informed Imran Khan about using technology to increase the yield of cotton. The company also offered technical assistance to the PM to help increase the country’s cotton yield.
The president of Chinese Energy Company expressed interest in setting up renewable energy power projects and investing in the solar energy sector of Pakistan. The PM thanked both companies for expressing interest in investing in Pakistan.
