Quetta: Dozens of persons arrested, shops sealed for violating lockdown

Police on Tuesday arrested dozens of persons in Quetta for violating coronavirus lockdown provision.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – District administration in Quetta on Tuesday sealed hundreds of shops and arrested dozens of persons for violating lockdown provision in the provincial capital, Dunya News reported.

According to Assistant Commissioner Quetta Nida Kazmi, more than 150 shops were sealed and at least 27 persons were apprehended during operation in different parts of Quetta for violating lockdown imposed by the Balochistan government to restrict the spread of coronavirus in the province.

Assistant Commissioner also informed that dozens of other persons have been detained who were aimlessly roaming the in different bazaars of the city. Police have registered cases against the arrested persons.
