Coronavirus cases in Karachi rise to 145

KARACHI (Dunya News) - According to data released by the Sindh Health Department, the number of coronavirus patients has surged to 145 in Karachi.

According to the Sindh Health Department, three more cases have been reported in Karachi taking the city’s tally 145. Two out of three new patients have a travel history; one patient came from the UK and the other from Dubai.

With these new infections, the number of coronavirus patients has increased to 145 in Karachi while the total number of cases in Sindh rose to 410.

On the other hand, according to details released by the health department, 64 patients are between 20 - 40 years-old and five children under the age of 10 have contracted the virus.

15 people aged between 40-50 were confirmed to have coronavirus, while 17 people between the ages of 50 - 60 were infected. In addition to this, only 8 people aged between 70 - 80 years were diagnosed with the virus.

According to Corona Mapping, three towns of Karachi are the most affected areas in Karachi. These towns include Saddar Town with 47 cases, Gulshan-e-Iqbal with 37 cases and Nazimabad with 12 cases.
