Out of city transport inside Islamabad has also been completely banned

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – It has been decided to impose partial lockdown in Islamabad shutting down all markets and restaurants.

According to the notification, all government offices will remain open from 10 am till 4 pm on weekdays and from 10 am till 1 pm on Friday. Out of city transport inside Islamabad has also been completely banned.

The government has also decided to reopen Metro bus service operating between 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 3:30 am to 5:30 pm. The arrangement of seats in Metro buses has been altered to increase distance between them. Taxis and cab services however will be allowed to operate under usual rules and regulations.

All religious and social gatherings have been banned and shelter homes are to be reopened. In hospitals, OPD’s will remain closed whereas Emergency will operate as normal.
