Hammad Azhar among WEF's Young Global Leaders from South Asia
Azhar is one of the youngest state ministers in country and show commitment to maintaining dialogue
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Minister for Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar has been named among Young Global Leaders from South Asia by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the WEF identifies the world’s most promising leaders under the age of 40 who are driving innovation for positive change across civil society, arts, culture, government and business.
Each year, the Forum of Young Global Leaders identifies the world’s most promising leaders under the age of 40 - people driving innovation for positive change across civil society, arts, culture, government and business. By connecting them to a community of remarkable peers and investing further in their leadership abilities, the aim is to create a ripple effect over five years that benefits their organizations and the world.
The checklist consists of the world’s youngest and Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin, co-captain of the US girls’s soccer workforce Megan Rapinoe, co-founder of the American Black Lives Matter motion Alicia Garza and lots of others.
Meanwhile, the minister took to the twitter and said that he was honoured for being selected as a Young Global Leader by WEF.
Azhar is one of the youngest state ministers in the country and show commitment to maintaining dialogue and integrity across political lines. He has been named alongside 114 younger international leaders that make up the category of 2020.
