CJP decides to fill judges vacant seats within six months
During the session, establishment of judicial automation unit was okayed
Lahore (Dunya News) – C Lahore (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed has said that providing people judicial relief should be ensured. Under the leadership of CJP Gulzar Ahmad session of National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee happened in Supreme Court’s Lahore registry, big decisions regarding judicial reforms were taken.
During the session, establishment of judicial automation unit was okayed. Moreover, the judicial body also stressed over introducing case flow management system in special courts and tribunals.
Another vital decision taken during the session was to fill the vacant positions of judges within six months. Advertisements would be reissued for the same purpose.
It was also decided that all high courts will set up a calendar highlighting posts of judges. Further zero tolerance policy will be adopted when it comes to corruption.
CJP during the session said justice should be imparted swiftly and judges should be posted in order to solve pending cases.
