Country cannot progress until the dissolution of interest-based system: Sirajul Haq
The JI chief said that the incumbent govt should take practical steps for the welfare of the people.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Monday said that the country cannot progress until the dissolution of interest-based system.
Addressing a seminar organized by a private university in Karachi, he said that the biggest problem of the country is incompetency, corruption and unfair distribution of resources.
The JI chief said that the incumbent government should take practical steps for the welfare of the people besides making tall claims.
Taking a jibe at Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Haq said that the minister should keep the train on track instead of taking it to the sky.
