KARACHI (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi gave the commercial council the task of promoting trade abroad, saying that beggars do not have any respect and Pakistan has to stand on its feet to increase its importance globally.

Addressing the traders at Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), he expressed that they cannot stand on their own without promoting the exports, for which he has given a special task to commercial council.

The Foreign Minister said that they are constantly pursuing economic stability. “Work is underway on other global markets, including Africa, to boost exports”, he said, adding that foreign affairs are linked to economic issues. “The world listens to you only when you are financially strong,” he expressed.

On the other hand, he also visited Institute of Business Administration (IBA) where he addressed the students. He said that there is a complete blackout in occupied Kashmir where India is brutally oppressing Kashmiris. “The world has to feel the pain of Kashmir”, he added.

FM Qureshi went on to say that Pakistan’s message regarding the matter is very clear. He said that we all stand with our Kashmiri brethren in this difficult time and will continue to do so for their right to self-determination.
