SHO martyred, two attackers gunned down in encounter in Bannu
SHO Abdul Majeed Khan embraced martyrdom in the encounter
Bannu (Dunya News) - SHO was martyred and two attackers were gunned down in an alleged encounter in Bannu on Saturday.
According to details, two men opened fire at police party. In exchange of fire two attackers were killed in premises of city police station in Bannu.
According to police, SHO Abdul Majeed Khan embraced martyrdom in the encounter and his body was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital.
Police cordoned off the area and closed Chaye Bazar and its surrounding areas for all kind of traffic and advised people to stay in their homes.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sanaullah Abbasi announced Rs 1 million prize money for the police team and said that police killed wanted criminals.
Police identified the gunned down attacker as Nayab and arrested two other attackers.
