ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The federal cabinet on Tuesday has decided to include the name of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz in the Exit Control List (ECL) in the case pertaining to Chaudhry Sugar Mills corruption.

The federal cabinet also decided to put PML-N lawmaker Javed Latif’s name on the no-fly list.

After the meeting, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the cases of seniority, vacant posts, rules and disciplinary proceedings in various ministries are pending for 30 years.

Awan went on to say that the National Database and Registration Authority has allocated the day of Friday especially for women. Meanwhile, database will be created for the family of Pakistanis released from prisons in Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that all allied parties under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan are united on the national agenda of the country’s development and public welfare.

In a series of tweets, she asserted that we will safeguard national interests at every front with unity and integrity.

The Special Assistant said the process of prosperity of the country and the nation under the leadership of the Prime Minister will move forward with full force.

The Special Assistant said the Foreign Minister’s visits to Iran and Saudi Arabia under the direction of the Prime Minister have brought positive effects. She said instead of being a silent spectator, Pakistan played a constructive role in the interest of Muslim Ummah and peace.

While talking to the media outside the Parliament House, she said the MQM leaders have presented all their concerns to the committee led by Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar.

Special Assistant said Prime Minister Imran Khan has already given a package of 162 billion rupees for Karachi and it is now time for its implementation and then transferring its benefits to the grassroots level.

She said the sick leadership of PML-N is staying at home instead of being hospitalized and meeting with Hamid Karzai, and sometime found at a five star hotel having dinner with the family.

Dr Firdous said electricity consumers would soon be given relief in their bills as the cabinet is going to address the issue in its upcoming meeting.
