Govt to take action against officers who benefitted from BISP
Government officers and their family members benefited from BISP for nine years
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government decided to take action against government officers of BSP17-21 who were among beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
Government launched action by issuing show cause notices to six BSP-17 beneficiaries of BISP.
According to sources, government in its letters to chief secretaries directs them to take against provincial officers.
According to Dunya News, government officers and their family members benefited from BISP for nine years.
According to details, 2,543 officers have been ousted from the BISP list. Officials from Balochistan and Sindh received highest amounts through the programme.
Overall, three officers of grade 21 and 59 officers of grade 20 quarterly received the sum under the programme whereas 429 officials of grade 19 were also among the beneficiaries.
342 officers of grade 18 from Sindh and 1,240 officers of grade 17 overall derived advantages from the scheme.
