Army Act amendment bill to be approved from Parliament soon: Ali
The minister said the COAS was a valiant commander
ISLAMABAD (APP) – Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan Friday said the Army Act amendment bill would be approved from the Parliament soon with consensus as it was a national issue.
All the political parties were agreed on extension in tenure of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said the COAS was a valiant commander, who had played an important role in elimination of menace of terrorism from the country.
Replying to a question, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan would never compromise on corruption and accountability process would be carried out against corrupts to recover the looted national exchequer.
