Road mishap claims lives of 8 in Malakand
Those who lost their lives in second road mishap belonged to same family.
MALAKAND (Dunya News) – At least eight people were killed and 32 others wounded when two passenger vans plunged into a ditch at Palai area on Monday.
In first incident, at least five people were killed and 18 others injured, while in second incident, three people were killed and 18 others sustained injuries.
Those who lost their lives in second road mishap belonged to same family.
Soon after the incidents, rescue teams and police reached the spot and pulled the wounded people from the passenger vans and shifted them to local hospital for medical assistance.
Following the incidents, emergency had been imposed at the DHQ hospital Batkhela, while the hospital administration appealed the citizens for blood donations.
