Police arrest 29 lawyers in connection with PIC attack
Police have so far arrested 81 lawyers in connection with PIC attack from different parts of Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 29 more lawyers were taken into custody by police from different parts of Lahore on Thursday in connection with Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) attack, raising the number of arrests made in the incident to 81, Dunya News reported.
According to details, eight lawyers were taken into custody by officials of Muzang Police Station while three other were apprehended by officials of Nawan Kot Police Station.
At least nine lawyers were arrested from the jurisdiction of Manga Mandi Police Station whereas one lawyer was apprehended by officials of Shalimar Police Station.
Sources said that 30 lawyers were taken into custody from the jurisdiction of Hadyara Police Station while officials of South Cantt Police Station and North Cantt Police Station arrested five lawyers each.
