LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Indian government Saturday stopped Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering Pakistan through Wagah border despite having a five-day visa, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the cricketer-turned-politician was stopped by the Indian authorities in Attari. Subsequently, Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur through the Kartarpur Corridor with the rest of the Sikh community.
On the other hand, the delegation that had arrived at the Wagah border to welcome the Indian leader also went back. It is pertinent here to mention that the Indian officials had ensured Navjot Sidhu on Friday that he will be allowed to enter Pakistan via Wagah.
