Matters between govt, opposition 'sorted out': Sh Rasheed
"A big section of our society consists of plunderers and looters," he said.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said on Thursday that political affairs between the federal government and the opposition were “in order” and the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would complete its five-year term.
In his talk to the media, the minister said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman should be thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan as the premier delivered the speech in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), containing same content which maulana had wanted to give at [D]-Chowk in Islamabad.
“A big section of our society consists of plunderers and looters […] things get clearer when people get in power,” he said.
He revealed that 500 policemen were being hired in the Pakistan Railways and measures were being taken to recover the sector from debt.
“I have told Imran Khan to fight the next election on ML-1 as the highway will pass through poverty-stricken areas […] with the induction of ML-1, the signal system will get improve and new bridges and crossings will be formed,” he said.
