Black Day to be marked on Oct 27 to show solidarity with Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government of Pakistan has decided to mark ‘Black Day’ across the country on October 27 to show solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris.

On Oct. 27, the Pakistani flag will be hoisted on all government buildings to mark ‘Kashmir Accession Day‘ whereas on Sept. 27 (Friday), the nation will observe ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day‘ to show harmony with Kashmiris.

"Prime Minister Imran Khan has very kindly approved September 27, Friday, as Kashmir Solidarity Day for holding public rallies across Pakistan to express their feelings with the people of India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir," read the notification.

The rallies will be organized to raise voice against the Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir and solidarity with the Kashmiris brothers and sisters will be shown throughout Pakistan. The theme on Sept. 27 will be ‘Let’s Save the Innocent Children of Kashmir”.

Meanwhile, life continues to remain uncertain in India-occupied Kashmir and parts of Jammu region on the 52nd consecutive day on Wednesday without an iota of improvement in situation on ground as humanitarian crises worsen owing to curfew.
