India strangulating life in occupied Kashmir: Mishal Malik
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Mishaal Malik, wife of JKLF leader Yaseen Malik, while condemning the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir on Wednesday said that occupation army has compelled Kashmiris to starve to death as India wanted to keep its illegal control in the region.
Talking to a private news channel, she said people in Jammu and Kashmir have been under siege for the five weeks and knew nothing about the well-being of their dears as many of them have been wounded or martyred by Indian force.
Earlier, Malik had appealed to the international community to take notice of the worst Indian brutalities in the Kashmir and pressurize New Delhi for lifting curfew.
“The world must wake up to the worst cruelties being perpetrated by occupation authorities in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K),” she said.
Practical steps, she said, should be taken to help the people of IOJ&K, who had been denied their basic right of freedom and held hostage by the occupation Indian forces.
