Dr Awan stated India's stance on Kashmir, as its internal matter, has been rejected across the world

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday termed the inclusion of Kashmir dispute in the agenda of European Parliament for debate “a proof of Pakistan’s successful diplomacy.”

In a series of tweets, Dr Awan stated India’s stance on Kashmir, as its internal matter, has been rejected across the world.

The special assistant said India could neither silence the voice of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) nor it could prevent holding of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on Kashmir issue.

She said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sincere diplomacy and unmatched sacrifices of the people of occupied Kashmir were yielding results.

Dr Awan said the international community has been embracing Pakistan’s effort to raise voice in support of oppressed Kashmiris.
