India on Saturday booked 30 students for 'waving Pakistan flags inside Perambra Silver College.'

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Sunday night responded to the lodging of a case against 30 students, who had waved Pakistan flags inside Perambra Silver College Kozhikode, a coastal city in the south Indian state of Kerala on Thursday.

Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor took to Twitter, and stated: “Beginning of the end. InshaAllah [god-willing]”

India on Saturday booked 30 students for allegedly waving Pakistan flags inside Perambra Silver College.

Sources familiar with the matter told the media that the incident occurred on Thursday when students, who were members of Muslim Students Front (MSF) accompanied by Kerala Students Union (KSU) – a student body supported by the Congress – carried out a procession as part of the union elections inside the campus.

The flags were allegedly waved during preparations for college union elections. Case were lodged against students under sections 143, 147, 153 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
