Kashmir dispute needs to be resolved, India cannot escape from it: FM Qureshi
He said that the Kashmir issue had been held back for decades.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday said that the Kashmir dispute needed to be resolved and India cannot escape from it.
Speaking exclusively in Dunya News program “Ikhtalafi Note”, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has contacted world leaders over Kashmir issue and the world has given importance to Pakistan’s stance, adding that the international media is also discussing Kashmir issue.
To a question, the foreign minister said that it was necessary to contact international community through telephone and letters.
Qureshi went on to say that the Kashmir issue has never been easy, the previous governments would have resolved this issue if it was easy, however, he said that the Kashmir issue had been held back for decades.
