Sanjrani urges world parliaments to play role in countering Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir
"Indian aggression is a threat to the entire peace of the world."
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has written a letter to speakers and presiding officers of parliaments across the world to apprise the international community of prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir and Indian atrocities on the civilian populated areas across the Line of Control (LoC).
In his letter, the chairman outlined LoC violations by Indian military in Neelum Valley, including firing and shelling on the civilian population.
Sanjrani urged the international community to play its essential role in stopping the Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir and help Kashmiris get their right to self-determination in the light of United Nations resolutions.
The chairman also invited their attention towards Indian state terrorism and the use of cluster munitions in violation of international laws.

The Senate chairman has also decided to hold telephonic contact with speakers of the parliaments of important countries.
