JI stages protest against incompetence of K-Electric
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that K-Electric has become a mafia.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Friday staged a protest demonstration against loss of precious human lives due to the incompetence of K-Electric in front of its main office on Friday.
The mothers of two children, who were electrocuted to death in Karachi, were also participated in the protest.
Addressing the protesters, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that K-Electric has become a mafia with the due to the collusion with the ruling party.
He demanded the authorities to lodge a case against the K-Electric high-ups and asked why the provincial government was silent on this grave issue.
Hafiz Naeem while criticizing the MQM said that no one has ever staged a strike against K-Electric, adding that the institution has become a mafia.
