Heavy downpour dampened the glee that comes with rainfall
(Web Desk) – Though Lahorites welcome rain as it reduces temperatures and gives temporary relief from the sweltering heat of the summer, yet there are many nuisances attached to the cloudburst.
The heavy downpour that gripped the whole city of Lahore has somewhat dampened the glee that comes with rainfall, disrupting the daily routine of the city dwellers, who suddenly found themselves at the mercy of water turning the fine roads into water pools.
So much so that moving to and from houses to work or recreation seemed an uphill task with cars and bikes breaking down on roads making the life of the commuters miserable, as water reached to the knee high level in low lying areas.
