330 kg obese man Noor Hassan passes away
Noor had successfully undergone a successful surgery at Shalimar Hospital.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – 330 kilogram obese man Noor Hassan has passed away in Lahore today (Monday).
The Sadiqabad resident was taken to Lahore in a military helicopter after Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa directed a special medical treatment for him.
Noor had successfully undergone a successful surgery at Shalimar Hospital. The doctors said that the patient will reduce 100 kg in first six months while it will take two years for him to become completely healthy.
However, he suffered heart attack when irked relatives of a lady, who lost her life during delivery, stormed the ward and broke the windows and other equipments.
The protesters also disallowed the doctors to enter the ward for treatment of the obese man.
Meanwhile, Noor’s wife told that his husband was recovering as he had started moving his hands and feet.
On the other hand, provincial minister for health Dr Yasmeen Rashid has taken notice of the incident and formed a three-member team for inquiry. She has also assured to provide justice to the bereaved family.
