Want one education system in Pakistan: Firdous Ashiq Awan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants one education system in Pakistan.
The PTI leader held a press conference in Islamabad and said the two crore out-of-school children are a big challenge for the government, and Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined to provide basic educational facilities to everyone.
Firdous Ashiq Awan maintained that we have to come out of the conventional education system and move towards technology.
“The conventional system has failed. The literacy rate in the country can be improved with the help of private partnerships. The rural areas are more challenging for the incumbent government.
“PTI has made education its top priority, and PM Imran Khan is working hard to introduce same curriculum across the country. He has also proposed to provide educational facilities to the people with the help public-private cooperation.”
Firdous Ashiq Awan paid tribute to Pakistan Army for making sacrifice for the 2019-20 budget. While taunting Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, she said the JUI-F chief is jittering so much because he is out of power for the first time.
The opposition knows that its propaganda won’t be successful anymore, she concluded.
