Army helicopters busy in extinguishing fire erupted in KP mountains
The wildfire erupted in the mountainous region five days ago
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Army Aviation helicopters are busy in extinguishing the fire that erupted on Karamar mountains between Mardan and Swabi districts on Friday.
In a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the helicopters made nine sorties carrying Bambi Buckets to overpower the blaze.
The statement further added that the efforts are still underway to control the blaze at earliest.
The wildfire erupted in the mountainous region five days ago that is situated near Mardan and Swabi districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
