Fawad's Muharram, Eid-ul-Azha announcement dates will increase differences: KP Minister

According to the Hijri calendar, Eid-ul-Azha will fall on Monday, Aug 12 while Muharram will start from Sunday, Sept 1," Chaudhry tweeted.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Minister for Health and Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shaukat Ali Yousafzai responded today (June 6) to Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary’s tweet regarding Muharram and Eid-ul-Azha dates calling it inapt.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that they harmoniously want Ramadan and Eid to be on the same day next year in the country. Fawad Chaudhry should sit with our acclaimed scholars and resolve the problems, he added.
He appreciated Fawad’s hardwork on the lunar calendar and relevant applications. He expressed that Science Minister should have consulted the Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee instead of declaring the dates of next Islamic festivals and religious acts and practices.
KPK Information Minister asserted that differences would further increase with Fawad’s announcement. Everyone needs to think of nationals interests by keeping their personal differences aside, he added.
He said that moon was very prominent and big after the announcement of Ruet-e-Hilal committee.
