Nawaz disclosure has put national security at risk: Firdous
Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet the need of every soldier.
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday stated the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has put national security at stake by disclosing national secrets.
The armed forces of Pakistan are our responsibility and Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet the need of every soldier.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on a visit to Maskan Old Home in Sialkot took a jibe at Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) vice president Maryam Safdar stressing that your anxiety will continue to rise as we ensure rule of law.
SAPM criticized Maryam Safdar to have utilized facilities illegally at her behest in the past and now was finding it hard to adhere and live under the ambit of law.
‘We understand your trepidation and the reasons for attacking PM Khan,’ she added.
Lashing out, Firdous stressed that time has come for you to live under the law.
Later on addressing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers at an Eid Milan Party she payed tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for the budget cut and emphasized that state institutions are for the masses and other organs of state will also have to follow suit.
She questioned Maryam Safdar over her claims that no corruption charges have been proven against her father. Every prisoner including Nawaz Sharif is equal before law.
‘What gold medal has Nawaz Sharif won? Why is he in jail if not for corruption?’ she added.
