Fuel prices might get a rupee lower once the contract with Pakistan State Oil (PSO) ends, he added.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - :Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that entire nation is standing besides Pakistan Army and a befitting response would be given to India if any adverse situation takes place.

While talking to media, he expressed that there is no leader like Prime Minister Imran Khan whereas he has been compared to people whose hands are dirty with illegal activities.

While responding to a question regarding PTI, Sheikh Rasheed said that he is not a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) so media should ask the concerned people regarding such questions. He requested PTI workers not to wash their dirty clothes on TV.

Railways Minister expressed that PM Imran will inaugurate the Sir Syed Express Train on June 30. He also said that they will try not to stress burden on public despite inflation in the prices of diesel. "We do not want to shift the burden of high prices of petroleum on passengers traveling from train while Railway was not facing any shortage of diesel," he added.

The minister said Pakistan Railways had given 50% discount on Eid Special Trains besides facing revenue deficit to accommodate the passengers.

He said a system was being evolved to increase the revenue of Pakistan Railways from their own resources.
