JI chief announced to hold protests against rising inflation across the country after Eidul Fitr.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Sunday announced to hold protest movement against rising inflation across the country after Eidul Fitr.

Addressing an Iftar party in Karachi’s Lyari Chakiwara on Sunday, he said that the incumbent government is a sequel of previous governments, adding that the protest movement will be started afte Eidul Fitrs against rising inflation and the slavery of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.

He said that the amount of loans that had been taken jointly by previous PML-N and PPP governments in ten years was equal to amount of loans taken by the present government in ten months.

The JI chief went on to say that the PTI government has failed to ensure provision of basic necessities to the people and added that the innocent people are being deprived of their basic rights and facilities. “Is this the welfare state on the pattern of Madina”, he questioned.

Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is working for imposition of Islamic laws in the society, as the solution of every problem is lies in following the Islamic rules and laws.

JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and Sindh Assembly member Syed Abdur Raseed also addressed during Iftar party.
