Rain in Lahore, other parts of country turns weather pleasant

Met Office has predicted more rain in different parts of the country during next 24 hours.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Heavy rain in Lahore and other parts of the country in the wee hours of Thursday turned the weather pleasant, Dunya News reported.

Heavy downpour in different areas inundated roads and streets in the provincial capital of Lahore and commuters faced immense difficulties while trying to carry on with their routines during Sehri.

Heavy rain was also reported from other parts of the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, different cities of Khyber Paktunkhwa province, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and likely to affect different parts of the country during next two to three days.

Met Office has predicted more rain during next 24 hours in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, D.I.Khan divisions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur divisions in Punjab, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions in Balochistan, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Karachi divisions in Sindh, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
