COAS Gen Bajwa visits Central Ordnance Depot in Rawalpindi

The COAS inspected different parts of the depot and the combat equipment.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday visited Central Ordnance Depot (COD) in Rawalpindi.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS visited various facilities and infrastructures of the depot handling a vast range of specialised equipment and clothing items for Army and also inspected different parts of the depot and the combat equipment.

On the occasion, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated the officials of COD for reviving obsolete equipment and safeguarding stocks for optimum use in view of reducing the burden on the national exchequer.

The COAS was accompanied by the Chief of Logistics Staff Lt Gen Azhar Saleh Abbasi.
