Gwadar after becoming an economic hub would generate economic activity in the whole region.

RAWALPINDI (APP) – Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Friday that Prime Minister Imran Khan was a ray of hope for the people of Pakistan.

“Prime Minister deserves congratulations as despite several difficulties, people of Pakistan consider him as their only redeemer, hope and a beacon,” she said talking to media here at an event at a public park.

She said that at a time when Prime Minister was on China visit for the better future of coming generations, the opposition had created a political suffocation in the country. “Prime Minister is busy to introduce Pakistan’s value added economy with the Chinese leadership and strengthen bilateral economic, trade and cultural ties with China,” she added.

“After negotiations with the Chinese leadership, Prime Minister is going to sign a free trade agreement with China. This agreement will be a game changer in the region,” she said.

Similarly, Gwadar after becoming an economic hub would generate economic activity in the whole region.

She said that due to imports, Pakistan’s economy had turned into a consumer economy. She said Pakistan’s local industry’s production had ended as its interests were not safeguarded in the past. As a result of that, she said unemployment and people’s economic difficulties had increased.

Firdous Ashiq said that Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan was a national trust adding that any dishonesty with this trust would not be tolerated. Those who commit dishonesty with this national trust are not worthy of any leniency, she remarked.

She said that some people were making noise as they were being brought to task due to corruption. She said that it was unfortunate that even education could not change some leaders. Universities award them degrees but they need to develop love and relationship with the masses. The educated people, who are leading political parties in the parliament, should love the country and talk on the issues of masses, she added.
