Dust storm, rain hit Lahore and other cities
Over 200 Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) feeders have tripped because of the storm.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A dust storm followed by light rain hit Lahore and its suburbs on Tuesday night, disrupting power supply to many localities of the provincial metropolis, Dunya News reported.
The dust storm and light rain lowered the mercury in Lahore, bringing much-needed respite to the residents. Over 200 Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) feeders have tripped because of the storm, plunging many parts of the city into darkness.
Dust storms also hit Gujranwala and Sialkot on Tuesday night. Over 60 Gujranwala Electric Supply Company (GESCO) feeders have tripped due to which electricity supply to many areas of the city was disrupted.
Rain was also reported in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Bannu, Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Gujrat, Narowal, Wazirabad, Bhakkar, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Sialkot.
