LHWs hold protest for allowance, proper service structure in Peshawar
They have further demanded up-gradation in light of orders of the Supreme Court.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Scores of Lady Health Workers (LHWs) on Monday staged a demonstration for their demands in front of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provincial assembly in Peshawar.
Reportedly, they gathered at Assembly Chowk and blocked the road from both sides, bringing traffic to a standstill, causing major disruption in traffic flow in the entire area.
They have been demanding health professional allowance, proper service structure and regularisation of their services.
They have further demanded up-gradation in light of orders of the Supreme Court.
