Police arrest 14 kite flyers in Lahore
Police detained 14 persons during crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 14 persons were taken into custody during police crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore on Sunday, Dunya News reported. The crackdown was launched on the instruction of DIG operations Muhammad Waqas Nazir.
According to police sources, eight kite flyers were arrested from Cantt Division, four from City Division, one from Model Town Division and one from Iqbal Town Division.
Police also recovered dozens of kites and spools of kite string from the arrested persons. Sources said that cases have been registered at various police stations of the city against kite flyers.
