Naval chief, Chinese envoy discuss defence, maritime cooperation
The Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan Navy's contributions to regional security.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday.
According to the Pakistan Navy spokesperson, both the dignitaries discussed defence and maritime cooperation between Pakistan and China and matters pertaining to maritime security of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The Naval Chief threw light on Pakistan Navy s efforts for maritime security in the region. The Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan Navy’s contributions to regional security.
