Oil tanker bursts into flames after turning turtle in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An oil tanker turned turtle due to over speeding and burst into flames on Gul Bai Flyover in Karachi’s Sher Shah Colony, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The blaze ripped through the surrounding vehicles as five motorcycles and an ambulance were burnt. The inferno engulfed a nearby godown as well. Thick black smock filled the air.

The driver of the oil tanker escaped afterwards. The police and rescue teams rushed to the incident spot and blocked the road to prevent any further damage. Six fire tenders extinguished the blaze.
No casualties were reported in the incident. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the occurrence and directed the Karachi commissioner to supervise the proceedings.
